Grand Reunion Seminar at Cambridge University: The Sound of Curly Kale

In 2012, it will be 65 years ago that Dutch language and Literature was first taught in the Faculty of Modern and Medieval Languages at Cambridge University. Dutch has been part of the Faculty’s provision for all these years. To mark the occasion, the Dutch section is organising a Grand Reunion Seminar in September especially for former students of Dutch. Entitled ‘The Sound of Curly Kale’ (curious? All will be revealed in due course…), the Seminar will be held at Murray Edwards College on 14-15 September and will consist of a mix of social and academic activities, with plenty of time for socialising and reminiscing! If you’re interested in registering for the Grand Reunion Seminar, you are warmly invited to get in touch with Elsa Strietman at the Department of German and Dutch, Faculty of Modern and Medieval Languages, University of Cambridge, Sidgwick Avenue Cambridge CB3 9DA or at Murray Edwards College, Cambridge CB3 0DF.
