
Alison Edwards, postgraduate student at Cambridge University and member of the ALCS, argues in favour of positive discrimination of the Dutch Language in the Netherlands. She expresses her concern with the current language policy in an interview that was published on 12 September in de Volkskrant. In response to a new government proposal to introduce Dutch-English primary education she warns that at this rate, Dutch will disappear from public life within the next decades.
